CASA SANTOS LIMA (CSL) LISBOA WINE 

Casa Santos Lima is a family owned company dedicated to the production, bottling and selling of Portuguese wines. The company is present directly or indirectly in the regions of Lisboa, Algarve, Alentejo, Vinho Verde and Douro. This way and from around 400 hectares of vineyards, it produces wines known for their excellent quality/price ratio and exports around 90% of its total production to close to 50 countries in all 5 continents. Casa Santos Lima is also the largest producer of “Vinho Regional Lisboa” and “DOC Alenquer” and in the past years has been one of the most awarded Portuguese wineries in major national and international wine competitions.

Grape Varieties: More than 10 confidential varieties

Tasting Notes: This wine shows great complex aromas of red fruits and some vanilla. Medium body in the mouth, well balanced, with sensations of red fruits, combined with the elegancy of wood notes and fine tannins provided by ageing in 250 litres oak barriques. In the aftertaste, it is smooth, with some acidity and complexity, overcoming ripe fruit, chocolate and some dry fruits.

CSL Bons Ventos 2018 (2 Bottles each from Bundle of 6)

Grape Varieties: Castelão, Camarate, Tinta Miúda, Touriga Nacional

Tasting Notes: Very aromatic with notes of ripe black and red fruits. In the palate, has a fruity start, very smooth and with concentrated red fruit flavours, well balanced with oak notes and a nice pronounced acidity. The fresh, yet fine tannins take over at finish, where flavours of spice and liquorice dominate.

CSL Al Ria Red 2018 Algarve (2 Bottles each from Bundle of 6)

Grape Varieties: Touriga Nacional,Syrah,Tinta Roriz Deep colour, with violet shades and good concentration in the nose.

Tasting Notes: Rich in aroma, with notes of ripe black fruits, jam and floral. In the palate it presents smooth and velvety notes of ripe fruit, chocolate and vanilla. Long and balanced aftertaste, with tannins that demonstrate good ageing potential

Grape Varieties: (ALGARVE) Arinto , Sauvignon Blanc , Closet

Tasting Notes: A very fresh and aromatic wine on the nose with lush tropical aromas. It shows a fragrant profile and intense citrus notes well balanced with some exotic notes. On the palate, this wine shows its freshness with an elegant intensity and persistence reflecting its minerality coming from the influence of the Atlantic Ocean
